I found this by accident! It's a silicon-based gel. I was given a sample to treat a scar from an old abdominal surgery wound. In aplying it to the scar, I also got it on my finger tips, and was actually more impressed with the fingers than the scar! It is expensive to buy but a little goes a long way and you may be able to request a sample from the manufacturers? I dont know if they have considered our problem as a use for their product. It is definitely helping me get through the winter with my finger ends lookin gthe best they have done for years. Normally by now I have painful splits and cracks - fine this year!! Perhaps the RSA could contact them?
