my husband has been on 5mg of Lisinopril for 1 month to help bring his blood pressure down. But he is not suffering with any Raynauds or Sclerosis. He has had no side effects and his blood pressure is coming down.

I've been on Lisinopril for five years, since I was first diagnosed and have had no side effects. I take it for raynauds and systemic sclerosis and find that it does help. Think it's to do with protecting your kidneys as well but not 100% on this.

Hi

i was given lisinopril from my cardiologist. I had an heart bypass op two year ago which was not successful and was given them never noticed any change to my raynauds when on them however my hands get a lot colder since they had to put me on a beta blocker.

I hope that lisinopril is good for healthy kidneys because i also have diabetes type 2

I was first put on Lisinopril for high blood pressure. I had to stop using it after a few weeks as it made my ankles unbearably itchy. I was then put on Adalat which lowered my BP and helped with my Raynauds.

i was taking lisinopril until 6months ago....because i had had heart failure, stroke and TTP, and over the space of 7 years it was increased from 5mg, to 10 mg and then finally 20mg. When it was discovered about 6 months ago i had scleroderma, reynaulds, and emphysema my rheumatologist took me off the lisinopril and put me on Losartan, and he told me that it would help me more with the reynaulds and would have less side effects. Which i must say I feel much better not being on Lisinopril any more....I used to feel like I had a hangover every morning!
